What happens when you call
A person answers
No phone tree, no national call centre. They take your address and ask about the water source and how far it has spread.
We talk you through the first two minutes
Where your shut-off is likely to be, whether to cut power, and what not to touch. This part is free and it matters more than anything else in the first hour.
A crew is dispatched within 60 minutes
The truck leaves with extraction and drying equipment loaded. We do not come to look and return later.
Documentation, then extraction
Photos and video before anything moves, thermal imaging, moisture readings — then the water comes out and drying equipment goes in on the same visit.
Common questions
A person answers, asks where the water came from and how far it has spread, and dispatches a crew. They will also talk you through the first two minutes — where your shut-off is likely to be, whether to cut power, and what not to touch. That part is free and it matters more than anything else in the first hour.
No. On-site estimates are free. What we will not do is quote a firm price over the phone, because a real estimate requires moisture readings and a look at what is behind the wall.
Fullerton and every neighbourhood in it, plus Brea, Placentia, Buena Park, La Habra, Anaheim, Yorba Linda, Orange, Santa Ana and Cypress as our core area. We also cover the wider Orange County and LA County edge — Garden Grove, Westminster, Stanton, La Mirada, Whittier, Norwalk, Cerritos and Rowland Heights — and take larger losses in the coastal cities.
Your address, and a plain description of what you can see: clean or dirty water, which rooms, roughly how far it has spread, and whether it is still moving. If you know where the water came from, say so. If you do not, that is entirely normal and it changes nothing about what we bring. You do not need your policy number to book a crew.
Call us first if water is still moving. Your policy requires you to mitigate the damage promptly, so stopping the spread is the correct first move and no insurer objects to it. Call your carrier once the water is under control — and photograph everything before anything is moved, because that documentation is what the claim is built on.
Yes. The line is answered by a person 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and crews dispatch within 60 minutes regardless of the hour. Water does not spread more slowly at night — it moves along wall plates continuously and wicks up drywall at roughly an inch an hour, which is why the overnight call is the one worth making.
You can, and it helps us load the right equipment — but do not delay the call to take them. Photograph what you can safely reach while you wait for the crew, and take wide shots of each room before close-ups. Those images also become the first entry in your insurance file, which makes them worth taking regardless.
Before we arrive
Six things worth doing while the crew is on the way
Stop the water at the source
The angle stop under the fixture if it is a fixture, or the house main if it is not. On most Fullerton slab homes the main is on an exterior wall near the front hose bib or in the garage where the line enters.
Cut power to the affected area
At the breaker, not by unplugging things while standing in water. If the panel itself is wet or you would have to wade to reach it, leave it and wait — that is a call for the utility, not for you.
Photograph everything, before you move anything
Wide shots of each room first, then close-ups showing the water line and any visible source. Four minutes here is worth more to your claim than anything you do afterwards.
Lift what you can, safely
Furniture legs onto foil or blocks, rugs off wet flooring, and anything on a low shelf up off the floor. Do not lift anything heavy alone and do not move anything with an electrical cord running through water.
Do not use the drains if it is a backup
If waste water has surfaced anywhere, stop using every sink, toilet, shower and appliance in the building. Each gallon sent down adds to what comes up, and the blockage is downstream of all of it.
Keep people and pets out
Especially with a sewage backup, and especially anyone pregnant, elderly, very young or immunocompromised. Close the door to the affected room rather than trying to work around it.
Emergency or estimate
Which one is yours, and why it changes what you should do
Call, do not use the form, if water is on the floor right now, if anything is dripping through a ceiling, if waste water has come up through a drain, or if you can smell gas or see a submerged water heater or furnace. Those are all situations where the clock is the main variable and a form adds an hour to it.
Use the form for anything that is not moving. A stain you are unsure about, a musty smell with no visible source, a water bill that has climbed without explanation, a slab you want checked before you list the house, or a commercial property you want a preventive assessment on. We reply during business hours and book a free on-site estimate.
The reason we draw the line so plainly is that water at household pressure keeps travelling along wall bottom plates for as long as it is there, and wicks up drywall at roughly an inch an hour. The affected area is not fixed at the moment of the failure — it grows for the entire time nobody is extracting. A call answered at 3am and a form read at 9am are genuinely different jobs by the time anyone arrives.
Whichever you use, you are not committing to anything by making contact. On-site estimates are free, we do not quote firm prices over the phone because a real estimate needs moisture readings, and in California you choose your own restoration contractor — a recommendation from your insurer is a suggestion, not a requirement.
